Copyright & Abuse

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Download Any Site is for downloading websites you own or have permission to use — for backups, offline reading and migrating your site to a new stack. Our Terms do not allow using it to copy, republish or pass off other people's content or designs.

We take reports of misuse seriously and act on them quickly.

Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe your work has been downloaded or made available through Download Any Site in a way that infringes your copyright, email hello@downloadanysite.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

  1. Your name, and your contact details (email address and, if you have one, a postal address or phone number).
  2. The work you believe is infringed — for example the website or pages concerned.
  3. Where the infringing material is on our service, or the account or download it relates to, as precisely as you can.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorised by you, your agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner, or are authorised to act for the owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine).

What we do

  • We acknowledge notices within 2 business days.
  • If a notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the material concerned — including removing a website from our Website Library — and tell the account holder.
  • We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
  • If you believe material was removed by mistake, you can reply to our message with a counter-notice explaining why.

Other abuse

To report any other misuse — for example someone using the Service to access an account that isn't theirs, or to overload a website — email hello@downloadanysite.com with the subject "Abuse report" and as much detail as you can. We investigate every report and suspend accounts that break our Terms.
