Frequently asked questions
How long should a title and meta description be?
Google usually shows about 50–60 characters of a title and 120–160 characters of a description. The checker flags anything likely to be cut off or too short.
What are Open Graph tags?
Tags like og:title, og:description and og:image tell Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack, WhatsApp and others what to show when someone shares your link.
I fixed my tags but the old preview still shows. Why?
Social networks cache previews. Use each network’s own debugger (for example Facebook’s Sharing Debugger) to refresh the cached card.
Does it check structured data?
It lists the JSON-LD types on the page (Organization, Product, FAQPage…) and flags invalid JSON. Use Google’s Rich Results Test for a full validation.
Is it free?
